Tony Johnson is a Bellator heavyweight who will be facing off against Cheick Kongo. We are super stoked to be sponsoring this incredible talent as he takes on an equally fierce opponent during this match. Johnson, who is 30 years old, boasts an impressive career record of 10 wins, 2 losses. He trains out of Killeen, Texas, and is with the American Kickboxing Academy association. Standing at 6’ 1", and 265 lbs, Johnson is an utter beast and Cheick best be prepared for one hell of a duel come Friday night!

Tony Johnson brings a lot passion and fierceness to every match; this is a guy who landed his first heavyweight title in what was only his 4th fight as an MMA professional; he’s a beast when in the cage, and he stops at nothing to finish a fight on top! Throughout his time as a fighter, Johnson has previously done stints with Bellator, ONE Championship, and King of the Cage. Currently he is in his second contract with Bellator, where he is doing awesome things.

During Bellator 161’s bantamweight match, VaporFi will also be sponsoring the unbelievably talented Sirwan Kakai as he takes on Joe Warren. This 26-year-old, 5’ 6", 135 lb Gothenburg, Sweden- native has been putting forth some impressive stats as of late despite 2 losses over the past year, and he currently boasts a record of 12 wins, 4 losses. He is with the GBG MMA and American Top Team associations, and he is most certainly looking to climb his way to the top of this sport. Warren brings with him an enormous level of skill and passion, and he will not be an easy opponent to defeat. However, we have full confidence in the abilities of Kakai; if there is one thing he excels at, it’s putting a serious KO down or battering his adversaries into submission.

Kakai has been fighting professionally since 2008, and has competed for Pancrase, Titan FC, and the UFC. The majority of his fighting was done outside the US before his signing with UFC. In 2012, while fighting with the Swedish promotion The Zone, Kakai fought for, and won the championship against opponent Claudemir Souza. During his time with the UFC, Kakai embarked on his first fight with the promotion with less than one week to prepare against Danny Martinez, and won. His next fight with the promotion resulted in a loss, due to split decision, and was released from UFC as a result. However, we know what Kaki brings to every fight, and we look forward to watching him put it to Jo Warren during Bellator 161.
